All year round. The beaches are in the tropics. It's always good any month of the year you choose.
Seasons in Los Roques
The tourist has 2 travel seasons in Los Roques, High Season, Easter, Carnival, December and holidays and low season the other normal days. When it is high season, the prices are higher than in low season
How long does it take to get from Bogotá (Colombia) to Los Roques Island (Venezuela) by plane?
Approximately 1h 50 min to go from Bogotá to Maiquetía , and then the 35 minutes from Maiquetía to Los Roques Does not include transshipment times and customs procedures at the respective airports ou can sleep in the traditional way in an Inn (beach houses conditioned to receive guests, type hostel with different combinations, rooms with air conditioning or not and own bathroom.
The Lodging:
In Los Roques there are no hotel chains. They are small houses that with the passage of time have been conditioned to provide tourist accommodation services. And as we had mentioned previously there are economic, standart and superior Posadas. The meals are always offered with the lodging. When all the meals are offered (breakfast, lunch or dinner) it is called Lodging with full board. Also it can be offered only the breakfast or only the dinner or lunch.
How can you pay?
Remember that in Venezuela there is a difficult economic situation with enough limitations for the handling of the currencies, unfortunately no longer are handled the Bolivars, (the official currency) because this changes much every day in front of the Dollar. So everybody prefers $ to keep their money. We can also work with the Euro but 1 Euro = 1 Dollar
